    Causative yapı, bir işi kendin yapmadığını, başkasına yaptırdığını anlatır. Türkçede bunu fiile eklenen “-tır, -dır” ile yaparız: “Saçımı kestirdim”, “Arabamı tamir ettirdim”. İngilizcede ise have ya da get ile kurulan kalıplar kullanılır.

  2. Hizmet yaptırmak

    (1) Hizmet yaptırmak: özne + have ya da get + nesne + üçüncü hâl. We had the roof repaired last autumn. I finally got my passport renewed. Have hem resmi hem günlük dilde standarttır; get daha gündelik ve çoğu zaman bir zorluğu, aceleyi ya da çabayı ima eder.

  3. İşi yapanı söylemek

    (2) İşi yapan kişiyi söylemek: burada iki fiil farklı kalıp ister. Have + kişi + to'suz fiil, birine iş vermek ya da talimat vermek anlamındadır: The director had his assistant draft the memo. At B2, the form often changes the focus: agent, emphasis, register, implication, or stance.

Passive, cleft, inversion, and participle clauses all move attention.

Advanced English often removes repeated subjects and auxiliaries.

Use these checks before choosing between close options.

  3. 3Reject any option with the wrong agreement, tense, article, pronoun case, or word order.

    Kuaföre gittiysen had my hair cut denir; I cut my hair saçını kendin kestiğin anlamına gelir. Türkçede “kestirdim” ile “kestim” farkını ek taşıdığı için bu ayrım İngilizcede kolayca atlanır.
