Short timed questions in the style of a modern computer English test: finish the missing letters, spot real words, type what you hear, describe a photo and speak out loud. You get a practice score for each skill, an overall score and a review of every answer.
Choose a test
How it works
- Every question has its own clock. When the time runs out, your answer so far is kept and the next question opens.
- You cannot go back to an earlier question. In the listening questions you may play the audio up to three times.
- After the timed questions, the writing and speaking tasks wait on the result screen. When every part is done you get an overall practice score: the average of four subscores, rounded up to the next five.
- Reading and listening are marked on our server. Your voice recordings never leave your device; only the text of what you said is sent for marking, and nothing is stored.
This is an original Trilango practice exercise. Scores are unofficial practice indicators from automatic marking, not an official result, and they cannot predict one. Trilango is not connected to any English test provider.
