What Are Cookies?

Cookies and browser storage are small data items kept by your browser when you visit Trilango. They allow the website to recognize your device, maintain active learning sessions, remember your settings, and keep core learning features working.

Essential & Functional Cookies

These cookies and storage entries are necessary for the platform to operate. They keep you signed in, remember your selected subject language and interface locale, store your theme and audio preferences, preserve progress, and record your cookie choice. Cloudflare, which sits in front of the site, may also set a short-lived security cookie to distinguish human visitors from automated traffic. Because the service cannot function reliably without them, they do not require optional consent.

Analytics & Advertising Cookies

Trilango sets no analytics cookies of its own. Page views are measured with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not fingerprint visitors, and the site runs no remarketing tags or third-party tracking pixels. Advertising is supplied by Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may store and read cookies and similar identifiers on your device to select and deliver ads, measure how they perform, limit how often the same ad is repeated, and detect invalid traffic; where consent has been given, those ads may also be personalised using data Google holds about you. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for that consent in a separate Google-certified consent message, shown before personalised advertising cookies are used. Everywhere else, choosing “Reject optional” instructs Google to serve non-personalised ads, which still involve a limited amount of storage for frequency capping, measurement and fraud prevention. Google's description of these practices is published at policies.google.com/technologies/ads, and your personalisation settings can be changed at myadcenter.google.com.

Managing Your Cookie Choices

When you first visit Trilango, the Cookie Consent Banner lets you accept cookies or reject the optional ones. Essential cookies keep the service working and cannot be switched off. Rejecting optional cookies instructs Google to serve non-personalised advertising only; Trilango sets no analytics or profiling cookies either way, so core learning features work exactly the same. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Google's certified consent message governs whether advertising cookies may be used at all, and can be reopened from the privacy control shown with the ads. You can change your choice on this site at any time using the Cookie Preferences link in the footer, and you can delete stored data at any time through your browser settings.
