How it works

  • Part 1: short questions about everyday topics. Part 2: one minute to prepare and one to two minutes of talking from a task card. Part 3: a deeper discussion on the same theme.
  • The examiner's voice comes from your device, so the accent depends on the voices installed. Allow your microphone when asked and use headphones in a quiet room.
  • Your recordings stay in this browser tab. Nothing is uploaded and they disappear when you close the page.
  • The app does not mark speaking. You get your recordings, the useful vocabulary for the theme and a self-check against the four band criteria.
